Factorie had run a Faces of Factorie competition a few times through facebook and this year they really wanted to revamp the competition and make it larger than ever.
We took the competition on to it’s own website and built a custom competition platform for it to really drive entries and increase the capacity and exposure.
The theme for the year was chasing your dreams, Factorie brought together some influencers relevant to their target market to inspire entries, with DJ Will Sparks as their main dream chaser. The website was designed featuring the influencers and their dreams. Entry for users was through a web form with upload for images and link options for sound cloud and youtube.
We created entry styled features for the influencers stories. This helped users visualise how to create their own. Each entry featured an image and a short description, with options to add videos and sound tracks to illustrate the dream they are chasing. This was taken into consideration deciding on the weekly and overall winners,
The competition was a huge success. Entries exceeded the previous year by more than 4 times the amount. There was almost 200k visits to the site during the 4 week competition period, from 5 different countries.
